You’ve seen the video. Now don’t look at the title. Can you remember what the car brand/make was? No? Aren’t car commercials made by the best advertising companies, or what? Atleast we got to see Jerry Seinfeld starring in a non-Japanese commercial, being LOL-worthy with his old buddy The Soup Nazi. Making classic Jerry Seinfeld jokes about what brunch chefs keep under their chef hats. Just Jerry being Jerry and getting paid like $5,000,000 to be himself.

- Well, it seems that Jerry Seinfeld continues to remain in the news. He called Lady Gaga ‘a jerk’ for her antics at Yankee Stadium. She wasn’t invited to sit in Seinfeld’s seats but did anyway, and had to try to be outrageous, too.

Yankee fans aren’t supposed to have this much class

Not surprising, the only people that care what Jerry has to say are Jews and 50+ years old.

I may sound a little crazy here, but maybe Gaga should try to be outrageous by acting like a normal human being. Or atleast stop putting out typical mediocre pop songs. Alejandro? Telephone? Sounds like shit I listened to in the 6th grade back in the 90s. Get real, Gaga.

- Also, if you ever loved the greatest Seinfeld character of all time, The Soup Nazi (if you need to ask, you shouldn’t be reading), now you can have the chance to meet him! Larry David gives marriage advice

Here at Hipsterjew we love old people. We love them when they are perverse and when they are angry. I can’t explain why, but I’m fairly certain it has to do with the fact that all the writers are secretly crotchety, old Jews. And we therefore love everything having to do with Larry David. If Seinfeld is our Old Testament, then Curb Your Enthusiasm is our profane and perverse New Testament. This is what members of Jews for Larry believe in.

Last night Larry went on The Marriage Ref, a new NBC show which I discussed recently. It was as if the prophet Elijah had to come to earth before Passover just to give marriage advice. Larry was livid. He was sarcastic. He was misogynistic. And he was friggin’ hilarious.

This affirms my theory that Larry David isn’t actually acting on Curb Your Enthusiasm. The man really is psychotic and misogynistic and this episode proves it.

I had my doubts about the Marriage Ref lasting an entire 13 episodes. As long as they continue to put angry comedians on (I’m thinking Louis Black soon?), and find people with outrageous marriage problems, I’ll certainly be watching. My only question: Why are so many of the couples Jewish? Have we lost faith in real psychologists?

Jews have trouble staying out of other people’s relationships. We love our matchmakers, our jdate.com, all our Jewish brethren working as marriage counselors and psychologists.

Yet Jerry Seinfeld’s latest television escapade, The Marriage Ref, looks like it will be really entertaining. It takes old 1960s television game shows that put celebrities in the hot seat, while adding to our reality-show driven culture.

The commercial for the show had comedic legend Seinfeld leading the commentary, while celebrities from all walks of life, Alec Baldwin, Katie Couric, and even queen Heebster/JILF Sarah Silverman came on to analyze some failing relationships.

It’s comforting to know that marriage is becoming a laughable endeavor. Catch it March 4th, after the Olympics.
