Krusty the Clown and the Star of David

Being an avid Simpsons fan and lifelong viewer, it’s hard to find something I’ve missed in an episode. Even something that just flashes across the screen (Maggie used to costs $847.63, which was the average cost for raising a child, but now costs $243.26). Especially in an older episode. I’ve used (wisely) at least a year of my life watching Simpsons episodes. So when Reddit user repocode posted this image, I was in shock. I have seen “Like Father, Like Clown” over 25 times. I’ve written about it. And I’ve read articles about it. But I completely missed this Krusty Star of David.

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find this image in other episodes. Even Krusty Brand’s Seal of Approval isn’t in the shape of the Star of David. I assume this was placed specifically to establish Krusty as a Jewish entertainer for this episode. I was hoping it would be a consistent theme throughout the entire show. But still – mind blown. This is like some Stonecutter / Illuminati conspiracy.
