First it was Sheldon Adelson, the rich Jewish Las Vegas casino owner who isn’t ashamed to openly fund and influence Republican presidential candidates. Hell, if I told him I was running for Congress and that I had a boner for Israel, he’d probably throw a hundred grand my way. Seriously, all the money he’s donated to political causes is not reinforcing Jewish stereotypes of cheapness. (Although one could make the argument that he does spend a good amount of money on legitimate charities, which is nice. It seems no one cares enough to point that out. Maybe because Bill and Melinda Gates set the standard for billionaire selflessness.)
Now we’ve got another Jewish casino magnate who has given lots of money to Republican causes. Enter: Steve Wynn. Wynn is *only* the world’s 491st richest man, worth *only* 2.5 billion. He’s been known for promoting world renowned DJs who play EDM/club music.
Like all wealthy old, white Jewish Republicans, sometimes Steve Wynn is kind of racist. Not terribly racist. Just kind of. Because ‘real’ Americans are white and run businesses, or else they don’t understand what it’s like to run a country.
Although we are unsure how much money Steve Wynn has been donating to Karl Rove’s Crossroads GPS Super Pac, one can probably assume it’s been a sizable sum. Enough to thrown Wynn, along with Adelson, into a group of super-rich-conservative-Jews who will use the system as much to their advantage as they can.
But don’t worry. On the other side we have George Soros funding all of our causes.
