Some people really like Bob Dylan. I do. But I find his voice incredibly grating. Yell at me all you want. He’s a poet and a musician, but sometimes I want to strangle him. The Times Changed but Bob Dylan stayed the same. Don’t worry though, he hasn’t sold out to the man. Oh wait. Yes, he has. They all have. Well then, I guess he has changed.
Ignoring my jaded self righteousness, Tim Heidecker has decided to one-up Dylan. Dylan is writing a 14 minute song for Titanic 2…or his latest album The Tempest. I don’t know. I don’t care. I thought he just played classics and had old geezer coughing fits on stage. Heidecker decided to beat him to the punch, writing a 15 minute song. Now we wait and wonder to see if his prediction was spot on.
His impression is certainly spot-on.
