Goon is one of the best hockey movies to come out in the past decade+. So in an obvious move, Jay Baruchel is planning phase 2, and this scares me.
How often are comedic sequels remotely good? How often are they better than the first movie? Goon is a pretty damn good movie, but was it by any means amazing? No. It was just extremely solid. So what should I expect from a second Goon movie?
Are we in for another Slap Shot 2? Which Baldwin will ruin Goon 2?
Please, Jay Baruchel, call me. Let’s talk this one over before we go all Mighty Ducks on this series.

Please, please, please the first Goon is one of the best movies ever made. I have watched it like over 20x, most new movies suck shit. Don’t fuck a sequel up, take your time, do it right. The first movie is perfect the ending sucked, only because it was over! Don’t fuck a second movie up!!! You got the ‘stuff’, don’t lose it PLEASE!
