A month ago I paid Kinky Creature some money for their Kickstarter, to record their first album in Philadelphia. In return, they promised to play a cover of ANY song I wanted. And because I love you, our readers, I want YOU to decide what song they should cover. It can be as ridiculous, as 90s-pop as you want it to be. So please, comment below. The best choicest will be chosen for a poll tomorrow, and then Kinky Creature will play that song.
COMMENT BELOW, YOU FOOLS!
If you forgot who they are, watch a HipsterJew Sponsored music video below!
Ed Note: Are you in a hip local band? Are there any Jews in your local band? Are you looking for exposure? If you are interested in collaborating, please email us: music {at} hipsterjew [dot] com.

Right, you asked for it…
‘Una Paloma Blanca’ by ‘The George Baker Selection’
‘Shake your bon bon’ by ‘Ricky – TheDesperadoUnderneathYourWindow – Martin’
As I’m standing on a UK train platform I shall keep it at two as I’m chuckling too much to trawl further in that cornucopia of cheese, and my guffawing is making ppl uncomfortable. Let me know how you get on. Good luck. Jeff

Well done sir. I can only include one though, and I have a special place in my heart for Ricky Martin.

Wait, are you telling me that I was lucky enough to have a song selected ? That’s amazing, especially from amongst such excellent entries. Thanks ever so much.

“Maybe Tomorrow” by the Jackson 5. Or “Bewildered” by James Brown, but only the version that appears on my Funk / Soul spotify playlist. Or “Funeral for a Friend / Love Lies Bleeding” by Sir Elton John, except you’d probably have to skip the funereal beginning. These are not jokey answers. Each would be epic, though possibly “Bewildered” would be the best, offering Deane the opportunity / demanding that he deliver an improvised, spoken-word riff about fat asses, hot pants, and why he likes fat asses and hot pants. Seriously, seek it out if you haven’t already heard it.
