Bob Dylan has lost his voice

Every time Bob Dylan puts out a new album, I’m amazed. Amazed because I thought he was dead. I haven’t cared for Dylan since 1979′s Slow Train Coming. Call me sacrilegious. Call me a non-believer, a band wagon fan.

Well here’s a new music video from Dylan, entitled Duquesne Whistle.

I obviously haven’t been keeping up on my Dylan, but when the hell did he get a gruff Louis Armstrong-esque voice? And when did he learn to sing in key?

I think Dylan is a pimp in the video, but I can’t be sure. And I think the lesson is to not rob poor old florist, because the voodoo will get ya.

That’s not why I liked him. Don’t change baby. Don’t change on me.
