Aziz Ansari is officially the Gentrified Hipster version of Louis CK

I joke because I love. And because I’m jealous of Aziz’s rich clothing taste.

Aziz Ansari is younger, sexier, shorter, and darker skinned than Comedian of the Decade Louis CK. He’s literally following in Louis CK’s footsteps, but in a more relaxed, somewhat lazier way. He randomly announced that his special was DIY for $5, a couple months after Louis made $$$$$ bank doing the same thing. But he hasn’t really promoted it, just on his site, and with a video.

He also went on Reddit to do a Q&A. Louis CK did it when he was promoting his own comedy special. And Aziz is funny, but he’s not trying to take himself seriously or give dark Louis CK-esque answers.

His answers may be described by some people as ‘Hipster funny’. Not really telling much about himself, being self-referential, musing about hip-hop and indirectly talking about how fucking cool he is because he hangs out with Drake and Jay Z and LL Cool J or something. He likes lots of obscure/well-known eateries that offer ‘ethnic’ cuisine. And he CANT WAIT FOR BEACH HOUSE!!
