Katy Perry’s dad may secretly be a friend of the Jews. But most people don’t see it that way:
Paul Endrei of the Church on the Rise in Westlake told the Cleveland Jewish News Tuesday that Hudson’s remarks were meant to be complimentary, but that “He went too far.”
No, no, no, angry Jewish people. You are confused. CONFUSED. You crazy old kikes money-lenders. I didn’t say anything BAD. I made a compliment. A COMPLIMENT.
He also said that his church is pro-Jewish and noted that he recently led a delegation of 42 people to Israel.
“We pray for Jerusalem’s peace. We’re 100 percent backing the Jewish people and their struggles to maintain their land that we feel like God gave to them from the time of Abraham,” Endrei said. “If I should be criticized, honestly, it would be to be too pro-Jewish. That’s why it’s so funny the way the cards got played in this particular situation.” (Jewish Week)
Really nothing to add there. Classic man making a classic excuse about how he is soooooo not a Jew hater. Hell he’s actually too much of a ‘Jew-lover’. He loves Israel. He has Jewish friends*. He tells us that we smell ‘like money’. He doesn’t need to explain himself to me.
*In this circumstance, ‘friend‘ means lawyer, business associate, and Jesus.
