So, the other night I’m watching The Colbert Report on its website and before the show can even run the cold open, I get the above ad. And I’m not averse to watching advertisements, because, hey, that’s why I’m able to watch it online. Even if the ad is an insipid one, which I find hilarious because it is essentially a bunch of people explaining how they are all unique individuals by all wearing the exact same t-shirt.
And then, at the 0:05 second mark (that’s right, you don’t even a third of this video to get to what I’m talking about), I see something strange. That guy to the left of the guy the ad is about…what’s that thing on his face…Oh my God it’s a Hitler Stache.
Now, I apologize for the screwed up blurry quality, (Dr. Pepper apparently doesn’t have HD commercials) and the size, which I couldn’t change without it turning blurrier, but that is clearly someone who (I think) looks like Jon Hamm sporting a full-grown Hitler stache. Which begs the question: why does a Dr. Pepper ad feature (kinda) Don Draper with fascist facial hair? Answer (maybe): Dr. Pepper hates Jews.
So, when, in a couple of weeks, you’re reading all about this on Slate or in The New York Times, just remember, we called it first.

I just noticed the exact same thing when watching a daily show episode today!! When you think about it, every single person on that set knew that dude had a Hitler stache!! Wtf?!
