So, like. I’m not cool enough to listen to rap. Its a sad but true fact. But I have a housemate who is cool enough to listen to rap. And he found this link and posted it on facebook.
And I love it. I love it when people mention Hannukah and Jews and King Solomon. I especially love it when they are rappers. Who aren’t Jewish. Unless you count Drake (which I do in ALLLLL of my fantasies) [Ed note: And Mac Miller. And I think Asher Roth was mentioned? Hopefully not.].
So fellow Jewsies, let’s embrace this one moment where we are cool. Or if not cool, at least we are mentioned in the same article as rappers. Which makes us ON THE FRINGE OF COOL. But don’t get used to this, it won’t last long I assure you.

Nelly isn’t one of the featured artists. But he’s just so darn cute.
So my dorky hebrews and shebrews, feel free to page through the 25 mentions of Judaism in these new-fangled rap songs. Don’t get offend by some of the anti-semitism. Because thats just lame.
And if anyone happens to know Drake (because all Jews know each other), you just tell him Ol’ Schlitz says “Sup” and that he should “keep on keeping on”. Or something that sounds cooler than that. Preferably.
*Tankayou Benjamin. Youdabest.
