Today we play a game. The game is called ‘Is This Homophobic or Anti-Semitic?’
Winner will receive the satisfaction of not being connected to Fox News.
Fred Karger, the Jewish, openly gay Republican presidential candidate profiled in Tablet in April, has been barred from participating in Fox News’ presidential debate Thursday. A Fox representative posits that even though Karger received nearly 2 percent in some of the most accurate polls—satisfying the debate requirement that a candidate receive more than 1 percent of the vote in five different polls—the polls were administered online and therefore don’t count. (Tablet)
I understand the Fox News strategy. They don’t want people to think that open gay men are allowed to be Republican, and even try to run for president. Having a black American win was bad enough! They don’t want those Jews (who are usually liberal) to fuck up the Republican circle jerk by allowing a centrist Jewish man to enter the debate. Because then they would have to ask serious questions and have a borderline serious debate.
That is not how Fox News works. That is not how a Republic works.
One day they are allowed to marry in NYC, the next day they think that they are allowed to run as president? As a Republican. Despicable. If this makes you upset, and you want to sign a petition giving your support to this gay Jewish man, click here.
The answer to today’s game is: Homophobic. The broad term ‘bigoted’ will also be accepted, but it is a cop-out.
Wait a second…he isn’t nearly scary enough looking. How are homophobic Republicans supposed to scared of a radical homosexual agenda now?

It definitely has nothing to do with no one having heard of him, ever.
