You must have heard. TV on the Radio, the biggest, indie yet kinda mainstream yet not totally mainstream band has finally sold out. For a long while they were on the cusp of indie legend, Kyp Malone straddling the descent towards indie Godhood.
And now? Playing a sponsored/free show in Brooklyn, sponsored not by PBR or Brooklyn Lager or some other delicious microbew. But by Heineken, the most godawful tasting beer, second to only Natty Ice.
What does this mean? That just like The Black Keys, TV on the Radio has also sold out.
Let this pictures equate a day of solemn mourning. The Hipster Sheep flocked en masee.

Actually, the show was near NYU in Manhattan. Does that make it better or worse?

Worse. Manhattan < All of Brooklyn.
The Village is soooo full of college students and tourists.
