JDubs records is to Jews what Jesus is to Prince: The reason that people who care about religion produce music. Sadly, JDubs has announced that they will be closing their doors for good. Jdub records had brought us such wonderful artists as: Socalled, the Jewish cowboy, Balkan Beat Box, The Macaroons (children’s music) and African/Klemzer fusion The Sway Machinery.
Quite frankly we will be sad to see JDubs go, and will miss them in our lives.
And when JDubs leaves, most likely so too will Jewcy, a blog operated by Jdubs about Jewish/pop culture. I wrote a little bit for them back in the day.
You know what this means?
There are only two big time Heebster blogs left on the internets. Us and Heeb Magazine. Heeb magazine is entirely online. Bring it on Heeb. We’ll take you on. We’re younger, better looking, and we appeal to Jews and goys outside of the Tri-State area.
Say hello to your worst nightmare.
