Everyday people hate on hipsters. Sometimes they have good reason to hate. Hipsters can be pretentious, rude, douche-shnozzes, etc. We get that. But we also have heard all the stereotypes, all the jokes mocking our love to PBR, good blood-free coffee, mustaches, and skinny jeans. Is it still cool to hipster bash? Most likely, no. It hasn’t been cool since hipsters were bashing on themselves in 2008. Because all hipster are cooler than you. And when you begin to hate on a hipster, you are obviously projecting your own jealousy about how cool they are, and how you wish to be as hip as them.
So next time you see a hipster at a bar, reading a copy of Dune in a corner, you approach him/her and tell them how much you love Dune. And then you buy them a PBR. Because they are cooler than you. And you will never EVER be as awesome as they are.
