haaretz – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has canceled his date with pop sensation Justin Bieber over the singer’s refusal to meet with children living in communities affected by Gaza rocket fire, Channel Two reported on Tuesday.
Israel has a pretty bad name in the entertainment industry. You know how many times we bitched about performers refusing to go to Israel because of their differences in values or not wanting to get political? So seeing the Beebs over in Israel is a bit surprising but nothing that I can give a shit about. What bothers me is Netanyahu’s refusal to meet with Beebs because he doesn’t want to meet with Jewish Gaza kids. Turn it off bro. Stop making everything political. This is going to be a PR mess. Soon all the assholes in the world will start shouting “Beebs is an anti-semite.” “Would Beebs have met with Palestinian children??”
Just let it go. Have some fun. Share a doobie with the Beebs. Maybe even have him sing you his new song and you can do the Ludacris part. It’s a once in a life-time opportunity, yet you’re going to use Beebs fame to push a political agenda. Bro. Chill.
