Thank god none of these 3 actually dresses like that
This year the chosen few are being represented by three very different rappers. 2 are quite unique, and 1 has dreams of wide-scale success. None of them are currently on the short Wikipedia list of Jewish rappers. I present to you: Hoodie Allen, Kosha Dillz, and Schaffer The Dark Lord.
1) Hoodie Allen: You know our love affair with Hoodie Allen, and not just because of his awesome rapping name (okay, it does have something to do with his awesome rapping name). He recently hit the music scene with his first music video. And now he has a new song coming out.
The song off of his soon-to-be released mix tape Leap Year, called NY is Killing Me, follows in the footsteps of other Jew Yorkers who have a love/hate relationship with the city. Think of LCD Soundsystem’s NY I Love you, But You’re Bringing Me Down. And this song is also a remix of a re-working of the Gil Scott-Heron song of the same name. Yeah, that shit is meta. So enjoy, because Hoodie Allen continues to work with some big hip/hop players on his way to stardom.

2) Kosha Dillz: If you want to know more about this New Jersey Jew, just check out this old vlog about him being stuck at his parent’s house in the snow. Kosha Dillz keeps it real, and since his raps are relatively ‘Kosher’, his audience has historically been mainly Jews. Yet his beats are nothing to scoff at.
3) Schaffer the Dark Lord: Certainly the obvious comedic-rapper in the group. And I would love to see him perform live. Not just because I am a sucker for nerdy Jews. Also because he calls himself a ‘rappist’. Hehehehe.
Rule of thumb is that you are supposed to rap about what you know. It’s not actually true, but if it was I’d say that these three live up to those expectations.
