What… the… fuck… Legit. I’ve been talking about this for a long time. I’ve been trying to argue that these two songs sound way too alike. Dov and Chicky didn’t believe me. I was going to write a post on it 3 months ago, but their denial made me feel stupid. Today I got the balls to write about it and Chicky sends me this link from Stereogum. The Hood Internet felt the same way I did and released his mashup today.

I am pissed. I should never have listened to Dov and Chicky’s opinion. I feel shame… Anyways, here is the rest of the post I wrote prior to knowing of this mashup’s existence.
No one believes me that Arcade Fire’s Sprawl II and Blondie’s Heart of Glass sound similar. I feel like if you just speed up Sprawl and you get Heart of Glass? Am I onto something or am I full of shit? I guess I’ll put this one to a vote.
