So yeah, there’s a league for professional dreidel players. They play games of dreidel for money you see…so its a real sport now. It even has a website, so you know shit is legit.
It even has an official board, which they call “The Spinagogue” which is available at Bed Bath and Beyond for some reason.

Its basically the World Series of Poker, but slightly more boring and annoying since it lacks strategy and there’s a Jewish metal band in the background playing awful songs with titles like “The Quest for Latke Oil”. I didn’t make that up. Its true.
I’m not gonna lie, this sounds incredibly boring, like Hillel party boring. I feel like it was a funny joke that ended up being taken way to seriously and now is no fun for anyone anymore…kind of like baseball.
But I still want this to become wildly popular if only to spur the creation of ESPN Jew, which would show 12 hours of this mixed in with highlights from the local JCC teams and Red Auerbach’s SportsCentury episode.
