Some dude changed his name because he wanted to be ‘ironic’ and different. Do you know what he changed his name to? Captain Awesome. He got it from the show Chuck. From now on, when he’s applying to jobs at Starbucks or McDonalds he will have to say ‘hi, my name is Captain Awesome and I’d like to work at your establishment’. It is a shame he will have to do this and wont get hired. But as a good hipster, he is setting a new trend and will be punished for several years until every1 else realizes its really really cool to legally have a really really stupid name. Except his name is stupid. It’s way too over the top. He took irony too far :(
I have no idea why he’ want to be named after this grundle-looking fictional character. But even then this story is another example of why America should be called Awesome Land.
