Having been in college for nearly 4 years, I’ve come to appreciate a few neat things. 1) Buying alcohol for myself 2) The countless opportunities to obtain STDs 3) Education. But having been at college for so long, I’ve become jaded. I admit it. I’m cynical and tired of the low intelligence and maturity of the average college student. I’m like Smart Guy, the child genius, and everyone else is his below-average older siblings. I’ve formulated a theory that most college kids are fucking stupid.
Leave it to science to prove me right, yet again.
The brain does not stop developing until we are in our 30s or 40s – meaning that many people will still have something of the teenager about them long after they have taken on the responsibilities of adulthood.
This probably explains why so many undergrads run amok. Especially at the ‘cheaper’ non-Ivy state schools *yawn*. They’re just teenagers that are free from mommy and daddy, looking to get blown and have a good time. And it explains why I prefer the older ladies. I’m just an old Jewish man stuck in the body of a precarious, young buck.
And I’m obviously going to use this “science says I’m still a teen” excuse when I need some $$$$ dollah bills from my rents to pay my rent and alcoholism. Win.
Oh if I had a dollar for every college dorm room I went into with this poster….I'd have enough for a coffee.

You must be in the wrong major. Back in my day (yes, before the advent of home computers – I used computer punch cards) most of my peers were brighter than me. I majored in mathematics and physics (back before geeks ruled, we were all nerds) so we were all pretty studious. Well except for a handful who were so socially maladroit that they could do anything and not give a shit.

It’s a product of the changing times. Back in the day you could hold a decent career without a 4 year college education. Not as many people were expected to go to college. Therefore it weeded out most of the ignorant, lower-thinking people. Unlike today, where everyone who has middle or upper class values is expected to get a bachelor’s degree. Not that it’s worth much these days anyway…
