Did any of you watch Comedy Central’s “Night of Too Many Stars” last week? I did. News outlets picked up on some of the okay sketches. Like I am sure you heard about Chris Rock cursing out an ex of a Meagan McCain look alike. Or how about Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert singing about Sully, the American hero that landed a plane we all forgot about.
But no one is talking about the Paul Simon sketch. I spent 4 days looking for video footage to post and couldn’t find it anywhere. What, did I forget what’s funny? I should go see a doctor. You tell me. Am I thinking this is better than it is?
Like, Scarborough Fair being autotuned? Paul Simon singing Gin and Juice? How is this not the greatest thing in the world? I don’t know. I don’t get American TV viewers. People like The Office, and Mad Men, but won’t watch CNN. *RimShot*
I know that Simon and Garfunkel parodies are well over done. But this was so much better then watching Steve Carell fake an orgasm. Whatever. WE wil never understand each other, Cable TV.

If it’s any consolation, my ass, too, is now gone. I laughed it off.
