A Chabad rabbi has been trying to become a chaplain in the the U.S. Army for awhile now. But because he won’t shave his beard, he can’t serve to all 10 jews in the Army.
You would think I would support a man and his beard. You would think that since the army has allowed beards in the past, I would be angry and writing letters to the U.S. Army. But no. For anyone that has spent a Friday night at a Chabad house knows what a Chabad beard looks like. It’s messy, never trimmed, full of schnitzel and farbrengan wine. I want to see that shit trimmed or gone. It’s the 21st century. We have tools for rabbis to look nice while doing their shit.
