As all good hipsters should, I am taking a hard look at my records and building on what should be an empire of hipster gold. My old one dollar bin records look bleak and are annoying. I have too much Styx and not enough Chuck Mangione’s “Feels So Good.”
With today’s release of Conan O’Brien’s “And They Call Me Mad,” on 7″ I just had to get a piece of it.
Side A “And They Call Me Mad” is a comedic, yet bland, recreation of Frankenstein. Granted, I’ve taken longer pisses than Side A of this 7″
Side B “Conan O’Brien Interview” by Jack White is just back and forth between two friends. Nothing really makes much sense. Although, Conan does a spot on interpretation of Ludacris, which some how sounded a lot like Leno, but what do I know. I’m 100% sure than this record will be obsolete in a week. We don’t even have to wait for Conan to die. Yeah, it’ll be nice to roll it out once in awhile and remember when Conan and I didn’t have real jobs. But… meh.
P.S. That’s right, I ended my post with a word that Conan helped get into the dictionary.
